The ULMA Group has signed an agreement with the School of Engineering of the University of Navarre to collaborate in training students through campaigns to that promote the competitiveness of the company and experience for students in the world of work.
The agreement has been signed by Iñaki Gabilondo, General Director of the ULMA Group and the Director of Tecnun, Raúl Antón. The purpose of the agreement is to establish a framework for contributing to the personal and professional development of students and to collaborate in training the students through internships, Final Degree Projects and Master’s Theses.
Through this agreement, the ULMA Group, within its strategic objectives and based on its possibilities, will collaborate in training students through seminars and student visits to its production facilities and plants. Likewise, the ULMA Group and Tecnun may also establish other types of collaboration such as public calls for programmes in the field of Research and Development.
The relationship between the ULMA Group and the School of Engineering of the University of Navarre is supported by various activities that have taken place throughout 2018. These include visits by Industrial Engineering Master’s students to the facilities of the Group’s Businesses. Furthermore, different meetings have been held to analyse the possibility that some subjects taught at Tecnun can be focused on or adapted to the specific needs of the ULMA Group.
